Do you have to provide this information?
Some personal information is necessary to provide our products and services to you. If you choose not to provide this information, we may not be able to enter into or fulfil our contract with you. Other information is optional (e.g. marketing preferences or analytics cookies) and will not affect your use of core services.
6. Smart Charging & Flexibility Participation
When you connect devices using the Powerverse app, you agree to participate in Smart Charging and Flexibility Services. These services use data and control signals to increase efficiency, reduce costs and carbon emissions, and support electricity grid operations.
Powerverse may:
- Collect device telemetry and energy data to optimise charging or discharging
- Collect your MPAN to confirm your supply point and validate flexibility events
- Send control signals to reschedule device operation (based on your preferences e.g. ready-by time)
- Share aggregated or pseudonymised data with regulated third parties such as NESOs, DNO, or Elexon for verifying flexibility performance and supporting market settlement
We do not share your personal identifiers with other third parties unless legally required. You may request to disable Smart Charging and Flexibility Services at any time by contacting us. When you do so, Powerverse will cease DCC-authorised access to your smart meter data as soon as is technically possible.
Your MPAN and related supply-point data will not be used by Powerverse to market energy tariffs or energy products to you, or to facilitate such marketing by third parties, without your separate explicit consent. This restriction applies regardless of how your MPAN was obtained, whether directly from you, from your energy supplier, or from an authorised industry data service.
Marketing preferences. As a Powerverse customer, we’ll email you about products and services like the ones you already use, including Raya Rewards. You can stop these at any time — just click unsubscribe on any email, or update your preferences in the app. This won’t affect emails we need to send you about your account or the Service.
