Solar system fitted February 2023 by Green Way Solar. Has worked very well until recently we noticed the battery was not feeding the the house power requirements. Contacted Greenway explaining the fault, they contacted the battery supplier Givenergy and the fault was corrected remotely within a few hours.The Greenway Way Solar team have provided us with a system that has consistently worked well since its installation in May 2023, and has for several weeks this summer 2024 been exporting more electricity than we have been consuming from the grid, even covering the cost of our gas consumption over this period. We would particularly mention the help of Debbie Rushton who promptly answered or relayed to the appropriate engineers our queries during installation. We would also mention the work of the two young engineers who installed the panels, positioning them very accurately so as to optimise performance.The Greenway Solar have been excellent in every aspect. The installation of the EV charger was faultless from the initial order arranged through Zhane Moodley to the final installation by Bradley Dell.They are a local company and have always been friendly and offered very knowledgeable advice.I would highly recommend them for this and their main work of solar installations.Competitive price; no quibble service; quick to fix minor issues; Excellent customer communication; All four teams (scaffolding, solar install, electrics and pigeon protection) worked efficiently and left the site tidy once done; Bottom line, we wold recommend Green Way solar to others. We had 20 x 480w panels fitted and a 9.5kw Give energy battery storage unit to allow us to make use of the energy overnight. There was absolutely no hard sell. All the team including Callum, Amy, Wendy and Debbie at the office, and Steve and Dylan who were involved with the installation, were brilliant. We had an issue with one broken panel (not their fault) and there was a delay in replacement due to supplier issues for the type of panel we had. 1Are there any charges for using the app or any particular features?
You will receive access to the features in the Powerverse app for a period of 3 years, or as otherwise specified during sign-up. Prior to the end of the 3-year period, we will contact you regarding options to renew your subscription, which may be subject to a subscription fee.
2Can I download the Powerverse app on multiple devices?
Yes. You will be able to access and manage your charger on each device. You'll need to use the same login details on each device.
3I can’t start a charge in the app – what should I do?
In rare cases, you may not be to start a charge for several minutes in the app. This is caused when connection to the charger is temporarily lost. To get unstuck, disconnect your cable on the car side, refresh the app by closing and re-opening, and try again. If the issue persists, contact our support team.
4I’ve just received my charger – how do I access the Powerverse app?
Complete our charger setup form to log in and begin charging using the Powerverse app. Once your installer has installed your charger and connected it to Wi-Fi, you can begin using the app to control your charger.

This really depends on your needs and preference. Here are some things you might want to consider.

- Flexibility: While you need to plug the cable into an untethered charger, you can use both Type 1 or Type 2 cables.
- Cable Length: Our tethered charger's cable is 5m in length, whereas an untethered charging cable can be up to 10m for either connector type.
- Cost: We're offering both tethered and untethered chargers at the same great price. You'll need to purchase a cable separately if you purchase an untethered charger.

2How long is the integrated cable of the tethered charger?
The standard cable length is 5 metres.
3What is Auto Power Balancing?
Auto Power Balancing is an important safety feature. The VCHRGD Seven Pro charger can charge your electric vehicle (EV) at a maximum of 32A. If there are other appliances using electricity in your home at the same time as the charger, such as your dishwasher or electric shower, Auto Power Balancing will adjust the amount of electricity going to your EV to prevent overloading your circuit and potentially tripping your fuse.
4What is the maximum charge rate of the VCHRGD Seven Pro charger?
The maximum charging rate of the charger is 32A / 7.4kW.
5What warranty is offered on the VCHRGD Seven Pro charger?
The VCHRGD Seven Pro charger comes with a 3 year warranty as standard.
6What are RFID cards and how many will I receive with my VCHRGD Seven Pro charger?
The RFID cards which come with your VCHRGD Seven Pro charger provide the ability to authorise charging sessions without logging into the Powerverse app. You do this by tapping your RFID card on the 'V' logo of the charger each time you connect your EV. You will receive two RFID cards with your VCHRGD Seven Pro charger.
7Is the VCHRGD Seven Pro charger OZEV-compliant?
Yes, the VCHRGD Seven Pro charger is compliant with OZEV's "The Electric Vehicles (Smart Charge Points) Regulations 2021".
8Does the VCHRGD Seven charger Pro require an internet connection?
Yes, the charger will need to be installed in a location with Wi-Fi access. If you do not have a good Wi-Fi connection at the location you want your charger installed, a Wi-Fi extender can be a good option to extend the range of your existing Wi-Fi network. These are readily available online or from many home electrical outlets.
